Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation is a registered charity that raises money to fund the purchase of capital equipment for Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA). We are governed by our own Board of Directors and are independent of CKHA itself, however both organizations work together to provide funding for capital equipment needs.
We rely on the support of the community to meet our fundraising goals. Even though equipment is considered essential for care at CKHA, as with capital equipment needs at all hospitals, the purchase of this equipment is not fully supported through government funding.
Our job at the Foundation is to facilitate this fundraising: to be the link between donors and the hospital.
