CHATHAM, ON – Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Home for the Holidays Winter Festival will officially begin Saturday December 7th at 6:00 PM on the terrace of the Civic Centre. Join them as they light their holiday displays, serve complimentary Tim Hortons refreshments, and light camp fires for marshmallow roasting.
“We are so excited for our festival to begin” says Gaye Thompson, Board Chair, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “We have extended the invitation to everyone in the Chatham-Kent community, and are hoping we can all come together to celebrate the holidays this year”.
Festivities will continue Sunday December 8th, beginning at 2:00 PM. Bring your family out for horse and wagon rides, visits with Santa, free Tim Horton’s refreshments, camp fires with marshmallow roasting, and fun holiday music. Come back after 6:00 PM to see the holiday lights and trees all lit up, and take some festive family photos.
“Our community has shown so much support for our organization and local hospital, we wanted to create an event where we could demonstrate how much it has meant to us” says Mary Lou Crowley, President and CEO, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “Please come out and enjoy the wonderful festivities we have planned”!
Sunday December 15th will be the final day of celebrations, beginning at 12:00 PM. Bring the kids out to visit with Santa, and participate in fun holiday cookie decorating and face painting! For more details, visit ckhaf.ca and look under Upcoming Events.
