CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary Donates $25,000 to the CKHA DI Equipment Renewal Campaign

On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, representatives from the CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary presented a cheque for $25,000 to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA) in support of the $6.9 million CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign. To date, more than $3.1 million has been raised for this important campaign.

This generous donation from the CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary was made possible through various fundraising initiatives coordinated by the Auxiliary throughout the year, including proceeds from the Boutique Grand Gift Shop and the recently-held Fall into Fashion shopping showcase and fashion show, among many others.

“We are so fortunate to have the ongoing and generous support of the CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary,” says Michele Grzebien-Huckson, Executive Director, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “Through their hard work, creativity and commitment to local healthcare, the members of the Auxiliary continue to make a significant and lasting impact on local healthcare and for that, we are very grateful.”
