Proceeds to support the CKHA DI Equipment Renewal Campaign
On Friday, August 12, 2016, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA) will host its 11th Annual Pro/Am Golf Tournament at Maple City Country Club in Chatham. Proceeds from the tournament will support the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s $6.9 million CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.
About the Pro/Am Golf Tournament
As one of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s signature events, participants in the 11th Annual Pro/Am will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a CPGA golf professional, many opportunities to win great prizes through ‘putting’ and ‘closest-to-the-pin’ contests, an elegant cocktail reception and a fabulous prime rib dinner and silent auction.
Last year’s event was a tremendous success, with $37,000 raised for the CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign. We hope to surpass that total this year, by once again raising funds to support CKHA in the purchase of much-needed equipment for CKHA’s Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Registration is open. Individual golfers may participate in the tournament for $295 and foursomes may participate for $1,180. For more information and to register, please contact the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation at 519.436.2538 or visit the Foundation office at 9 Ursuline Avenue in Chatham. About the CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign
As part of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s directive to raise funds to support CKHA’s Highest Priority Needs, the $6.9 million CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign was launched in late 2014 to support CKHA in the purchase of new equipment for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
This new diagnostic imaging equipment will serve almost every program offered at CKHA and is key for diagnoses in a multitude of cases, including heart, stroke, cancer, orthopedics, rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynecology, just to name a few.
To date, more than $3.7 million has been raised for this important campaign.
About the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA) was established in 1998 to enhance the quality of healthcare available to the citizens of Chatham-Kent by raising funds and providing other resources to support CKHA. It accomplishes this through annual campaigns, capital and endowment campaigns, memorial giving, special events and planned giving. To date, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation has raised over $40 million.
