Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation Hosts AGM and Donor Appreciation Event
More than 50 Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation donors and volunteers honoured

CHATHAM, ON (Monday, June 27, 2016): This past Wednesday night, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA) hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by its Annual Donor Appreciation Event at the Aristos Room at Smitty’s Family Restaurant in Chatham. This event was an evening to celebrate the generosity of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation supporters and to recognize their contributions to local healthcare through the efforts of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.

Donor Appreciation Event
Over 100 Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation supporters were in attendance to recognize the achievements of 43 donors who were honoured at the Donor Appreciation Event.  Of the 43 donors, 19 are donors who have given more than $5,000 and the remaining are individuals and organizations who have achieved the next giving level through the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Donor Recognition Program.

The Chatham Kent Community Foundation, the Patterson Family, ProResp Inc., and the Rotary Club of Wallaceburg were honoured for their generous contributions to local healthcare at the event with the presentation of donor recognition storyboards.  Through the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s formal Donor Recognition Program, storyboards are developed for individuals and/or organizations who give $100,000 or more (cumulatively) to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.  Each storyboard will be permanently displayed at CKHA’s Chatham and Sydenham Campuses, starting in early July.

The final two awards handed out at the event were the Janet Cook Outstanding Volunteer Award and the Outstanding Sponsor Award.  Long-time Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation volunteers, Dr. John & Debbie Button, Sandra Denomey and Keith Hindmarsh were presented with Janet Cook Outstanding Volunteer Awards for their generous donation of time and talents. Club Lentinas and Honeywell were honoured with Outstanding Sponsor Awards for their generous contributions to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation events through event sponsorship.
