Guests will also be treated to a pre-dinner Happy Hour with a special guest of honour, participate in an exclusive wine tasting with Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, and be entertained by local musical talent. It’s the perfect date night with your significant other, or a fun night in with family or friends!

31st Annual Christmas Wish Tree
Presented by
RBC Wealth Management Dominion Securities
Karen Ewald, VP & Portfolio Manager

Our 31st Annual Christmas Wish Tree Campaign was an overwhelming success raising over $200,000 and more than double the campaign goal of $100,000! Proceeds supported  CKHA’s new Urology Services through the purchase of a new Bladder Scanner for CKHA’s Wallaceburg Site, and a new Urodynamics Machine for CKHA’s Chatham Site.  Members of the community make a donation in memory of a loved one, and receive a light on the tree in recognition.   Our memorial trees were lit up in Chatham and Wallaceburg during a special virtual ceremony in partnership with YourTV Chatham-Kent!  This year’s tradition also recognized four special honourees from our community.

For the first time in our 30 year history, we received a matching gift for Christmas Wish Tree!  Bob & Robin Hockney, retired local business owners who have lived in Chatham-Kent for 31 years, wanted to do something to give back to their community.  They matched the first $25,000 donated to the campaign, and then another $25,000 for Giving Tuesday!

19th Annual Parade of Chefs Presented by Precise ParkLink

We are extremely disappointed to announce that once again, our annual Parade of Chefs presented by Precise ParkLink has been cancelled for 2021.  Although this was a very difficult decision, the health and wellbeing of our community continues to be our top priority.  We thank you for your understanding and hope to see you all at Parade of Chefs next year.

Charity Curling Classic

Due to Covid-19 restrictions in place at the Sydenham Community Curling Club in Wallaceburg, we are disappointed to announce that this year’s Charity Curling Classic bonspiel has been cancelled.  We are hopeful for the possibility to host this event once again in 2022!
