Help us bring new equipment to Chatham-Kent by participating, donating to, or sponsoring one of our signature events, including:
Are you ready to “Fall into Chatham-Kent” at this year’s 17th Annual Parade of Chefs? We are thrilled to have celebrity host, John Catucci, as well as local talented chefs, wineries, breweries and farmers at this year’s event. It will also be a wonderful opportunity to support the new Urology Program at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The 14th Annual Pro/Am Golf Tournament took place at Maple City Country Club on June 14, 2019. Participants teamed up with celebrities, professional golfers, sponsors, and volunteers for an excellent day on the golf course. At this year’s tournament, our community helped raise $46,068 for men’s health at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Proceeds supported the purchase of a new Holmium laser.
The Annual Charity Curling Classic takes place at the Sydenham Community Curling Club in Wallaceburg. The bonspiel brings curlers together to team up, sweep the ice and raise pledges for Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. The day also includes a silent auction, 50/50 draw, and prizes for the top teams and fundraisers. The 8th Annual Charity Curling Classic raised more than $13,500 for cardiac care in Chatham-Kent.
Christmas Wish Tree
The Annual Christmas Wish Tree Lighting ceremonies take place in December at both the Wallaceburg and Chatham sites of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Members of the community publicly honor family members and friends by making a donation to illuminate one of three different colored tree lights in support of their local hospital. In addition to the lighting of the tree, a candle lighting ceremony is also featured to pay tribute to our loved ones.

First launched on May 6, 2019, Southwestern Ontario’s very first charitable, online 50/50 fundraiser was a tremendous success! Our Igniting Healthcare 50/50 Fundraiser raised an overall pot of $294,360.00, breaking the old 50/50 draw record of $168,000.00. Tickets were sold at various events across Chatham-Kent as well as online. Our lucky jackpot winner, Bert Vanderheide from Blenheim, took home a cheque for $149,180.00 on July 27. The proceeds from this draw went towards purchasing a new Holmium laser, a key piece of equipment for the new Urology Program at CKHA.
