The bonspiel involves 16 teams participating in two games of curling, each comprising of six ends. Participants also enjoy lunch, dinner, door prizes, and a variety of games and activities including a Hit the Ham contest and Silent Auction.
All proceeds from this year’s event will support the purchase of an Automated Chest Compression Device for CKHA’s Wallaceburg Emergency Department. This device assists in the resuscitation of a pulseless patient, and eliminates the risk of provider fatigue, while freeing up staff to perform other important tasks. Each team will be collecting pledges to contribute to these fundraising efforts. If you would like to support this cause by making a pledge, please click the button below.
As the holiday season approaches, you can honour the memory of a loved one by making a donation to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s 30th Annual Christmas Wish Tree Campaign. With your donation, we’ll place a light bulb in memory of someone you love on the Christmas Wish Tree. Their name will also be published weekly in the Chatham Daily News and Wallaceburg Courier Press from November 19th to December 26th, and displayed on an ornament at both Chatham and Wallaceburg hospital sites.
With your generous contribution you will be supporting our efforts to purchase two new patient ventilators for the hospital’s Emergency department, and three new pediatric cribs for the Women & Children’s department.
