It was announced on Tuesday, August 22 2017 that Dave Depencier has been named Co-Chair for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s $6.9 million Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign. Along with Co-Chair Greg Hetherington (Radio Personality) and Honourary Chair Andy Fantuz, Dave will be leading the way to completing this important campaign by spring of 2018. Eighteen new pieces of equipment will be purchased for the DI Department at both Chatham and Sydenham Campuses.
A resident of Dresden, Dave Depencier is the owner of Depencier Builders, a local home builder specializing in custom homes, log homes and renovations. As a member of the Chatham-Kent Home Builders, Dave has been a long time supporter of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s efforts, including a critical role in the 2008, 2 day home build benefiting the Foundation’s MRI Campaign. In 2015, Dave was selected as the host of Cottage Life Network’s Reno My Reno, a realty show specializing in Dave and his team completing renovations projects started by cottage owners across Ontario. In the summer of 2017, Netflix picked up the show and started airing it across North America.
“From the homebuilders’ industry alone, having the right equipment and a strong hospital attracts people, and keeps people here. Healthcare is a community effort and we need the community to help us reach our goal. It takes all of you to make this campaign successful. It’s going to take a lot of hard work, but I’m up to the challenge.”
