On Thursday, April 6, 2017, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA) hosted its 15th Annual Parade of Chefs at Club Lentinas in Chatham, raising $40,000 for the CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign. To date, over $4.4 million has been raised for this important campaign.
This year’s sold out event featured Restaurateur, Dragon’s Den Investor and Sommelier, Chef Vikram Vij [Vik-rim Vidge], and featured five-courses prepared by local chefs from Eat What’s Good Inc, Frendz Restaurant & Lounge, Harvest Moon Catering, Mamma Maria’s Ristorante, T-Bones Grill House, The Chilled Cork Restaurant & Lounge, and Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club. Each course has a middle eastern influence.
Each course was accompanied by wines from Aleksander Estate Winery, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, Early Acres Estate Winery, and Pelee Island Winery & Vineyards Inc; and beer from Bayside Brewing Company and Sons of Kent Brewing Company.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation was also excited to welcome back the CKHA Physician and staff wine servers.
“Our 15th Annual Parade of Chefs was once again a wonderful evening,” says Barb Noorenberghe, Development Officer, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “The energy from the crowd, the chefs and celebrity Chef Vikram was unbelievable. We are very grateful for the support of this year’s event as everyone came together to raise funds for our DI Equipment Renewal Campaign.”
