In honour of the holiday season, two local groups donated stuffed animals to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHA), to be distributed to children receiving care at CKHA. PetSmart has donated 250 stuffed animals through donations from PetSmart customers and Associates at the Chatham location, and the St. Agnes Knights of Columbus Council #8739 donated 20 large bears.
“These gifts truly capture the spirit of the holidays, and we thank everyone who donated towards this incredible donation,” says Candice Jeffrey, Development and Communications Lead, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “These adorable stuffed animals will be a wonderful gift to the children who are receiving care at CKHA over the holidays.”
The stuffed animal donations will be distributed to the Women and Children’s Department in Chatham, and the Emergency Department at the Chatham and Sydenham Campuses.
