CKHA Foundation Appoints Three New Board Members

CHATHAM – Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) is honoured to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors. CKHAF Board members are leaders in our community who play a key role in voluntarily overseeing the Foundation’s mission to lead the way in philanthropy by connecting the communities of Chatham-Kent in support of high quality healthcare in our local hospital sites.

Joining the Foundation Board are newly-elected members Lindsey Anderson, Rocky Gaudrault, and Lori Phillips.

“We are very excited to welcome Lindsey, Rocky, and Lori to our Board of Directors. All three of them are experts in their fields, and bring a wealth of experience to crucial areas like strategic planning, governance, and financial management,” said Bob Hockney, Chair of CKHAF’s Board of Directors. “We have worked diligently to ensure that the Foundation Board and leadership is made up of industry experts with stellar reputations across a wide variety of fields, and these three new Board members are no exception.”

Lindsey Anderson of Anderson Law Group was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007 and was admitted to the partnership of Carscallen, Reinhart, Mathany, Maslak, Anderson in 2014. She took over the practice on January 1, 2019, and practices in all areas of real estate, business, and estate law. Lindsey has experience on non-profit Boards in Wallaceburg, and has also volunteered for previous Sydenham District Hospital campaigns, demonstrating a continued commitment to local healthcare.

Rocky Gaudrault, CEO and Partner of Junctura Inc., has 25 years of experience across the private sector. He was the Founder and Chair of TekSavvy Solutions Inc. from 1998 to 2012, and has since expanded his business interests to a variety of industries including real estate, construction, insurance, sports, and restaurants. Rocky also has significant Board experience with a number of non-profits in Chatham-Kent, and has demonstrated his commitment to our community time and time again.

Lori Phillips of Baker Tilly CK, LLP joined Collins Barrow Chatham-Kent in 2003 and was admitted to the partnership in 2018 (Collins Barrow rebranded as Baker Tilly in January 2019). She has over 15 years of experience in the profession, providing accounting, taxation and financial advisory solutions to owner-managed businesses. Lori also works closely with many not-for-profit organizations throughout the community, assisting them with their specific needs and requirements.

“I am absolutely delighted to welcome Lindsey, Rocky, and Lori to the Foundation Board, and I look forward to working with them all in the years ahead,” stated Mary Lou Crowley, President and CEO of CKHAF. “Under the strong leadership of our Board Chair, Bob Hockney, and with a Board comprised of so many community leaders, the Foundation is very well-positioned to continue to advance our mission, vision, and values for the benefit of local healthcare here in Chatham-Kent.

The Foundation also recognizes Dr. David Sullivan, who retired from the Board at their Annual General Meeting on June 21st. Dr. Sullivan will join the Foundation’s Ambassador Club, which is comprised of former Board members.

“We are truly grateful for Dr. Sullivan’s firm dedication and commitment to the Foundation and to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for so many years,” said Hockney.
